GALILEO PAKISTAN PLAYS A ROLE IN RELIEF FOR SWAT IDPs 


Galileo Pakistan came forward in providing relief to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) belonging to Swat. All staff members, driven by the spirit of sharing the grief and misery of these affected persons agreed unanimously to contribute one day salary for the cause. The management and Directors magnanimously matched rupee for rupee. 


The amount thus collected was handed over to the Galileo office Peshawar. The Peshawar office staff arranged purchase and delivery of edible goods for the affected persons. The relief effort was rolled out in two phases, in the 1st phase relief items were distributed to the travel agency community of Swat affected due to ongoing military operations in the valley and in the 2nd phase relief goods were distributed to other needy people. 


While thanking Galileo Pakistan employees for their generous contribution and appreciating their willingness to help IDPs, Mr. Ali Naqi Taqi, CEO said that "Galileo Pakistan employees have exhibited their profound sense of sharing and empathy on this occasion. We pray for timely return of the IDPs to their home in honour and dignity”.
