Galileo Pakistan Takes Its Faisalabad Agency Users to Rohtas Fort and Mangla Dam
Once again Galileo Pakistan Faisalabad Office arranged a familiarization trip to its customers by taking them to famous Rohtas Fort and Mangla Dam located in Jehlum, Distric of Punjab.
The group of 60 Galileo users and prominent names from Faisalabad’s travel market, accompanied by Mr. Jamshed Ather, Manager Faisalabad Branch Galileo Pakistan, embarked upon the journey to Rohtas Fort at 7:30 in the morning and had a breakfast on the way at famous GT road.
The fort is one of the most impressive historical monuments in Pakistan. It was built by Afghan ruler Sher Shah Suri, between 1540 and 1547 AD. It served as a huge fortified base for military operations against Gakkhars by Sher Shah Suri. It was later used by Mughal emperor Akbar and Sikhs. Within the huge terraced rampart walls with robust bastions and twelve gates, is located another fortress, palaces and ancillary buildings. After experiencing the beautiful scenery at the architectural monument group left for a Mangla Dam the twelfth largest dam in the world, where they had a delicious lunch at Mangla Lake before returning back to Faisalabad.
