Travel Agents Embark on Khewra Trip with Galileo

Travel agents enjoy yet another familiarization trip as Galileo Pakistan takes its esteemed customers from Sialkot and Gujranwala to Khewra.

More than 80 Galileo users and prominent names from Sialkot & Gujranwala travel market, embarked upon the journey to Khewra through G.T Road. The group was accompanied by Mr. Sheraz Azmat, Arslan Bin Naveed and staff of Galileo Pakistan. The travelers passed through various cities on their way and finally arrived at Khewra mines at noon.

Khewra, the famous tourist resort situated in Jehlum district has world’s second largest salt mines. The discovery of Rock Salt in Khewra dates back to 1872, when scientific mining operation started under the British rule. Since then, Khewra salt mines have been producing salt of various kinds.

The group also visited famous Salt Mosque and enjoyed the transverse ride by train, throughout the mines.
